1) BACK BAY — Today is opening day for Revolution Juice, located by the Pru and Christian Science Center. This newest addition to Boston's overflowing juice scene offers juice and smoothies, sorbets, soups, and other snacks. Eventually, the shop will also offer meal plans of baby foodStatus: Certified open. 150 Huntington Ave., Boston, (857) 233-4313.

2) WINTER HILL — The straightforwardly-named Falafel Place is now open in Somerville, offering a variety of veggie plates and roll-ups, shawarma and kabobs, soups and salads, and more. In its first few days, it has already racked up eight Yelp reviews — each a solid five stars out of five. "Winter Hill is now host to the best falafel game in town," promises one Yelper. The quick-service spot is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. Status: Certified open. 1 Main St., Somerville, (617) 764-2336.

3) QUINCY — Hakata Ramen is now open near the Wollaston T stop, offering ramen, sushi, bento boxes, rice bowls, and more. Status: 673 Hancock St., Quincy, (617) 773-8828.
