The long-promised expansion of Griddler's Burgers and Dogs debuts today at 134 Boylston St. by the Common, and while this is the second location for the Boston Nightlife Ventures quick-service concept (the original is in Beacon Hill), it will serve as the "flagship" and "prototype" for the chain as it continues to expand over the next few years, according to a press release. The menu has been updated by the restaurant group's new chief culinary officer, Bill Brodsky, formerly chef/owner of City Landing.
On the new menu: a variety of burgers made with beef, grilled or fried chicken, or veggie patties, plus other related items (hot dogs, grilled cheese, fries and tater tots, milkshakes, and the like).
Griddler's is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays and noon to 10 p.m. on weekends. Starting at noon today, the new location will give out 200 free burgers.
