KENDALL SQUARE — Come out of hibernation on Saturday, March 7 for the second annual Great Boston Chili Bowl. Join local restaurateurs and brewers from noon to 4 p.m. at the Technology Square Atrium (800 Technology Square, Cambridge) to try variations on chili and fire-quenching beers. All proceeds will go toward the research done by ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS TDI), the world’s largest drug development organization dedicated to ending ALS, a.k.a. Lou Gehrig's disease. Bonus: The group is offering free parking at the Tech Square garage with every ticket purchased. [Official Site]

This week, the al la carte entree will include stone fruit moustarda. Reservations are encouraged; call the restaurant at 617-476-5606. [Press Release]
