The space will become a new restaurant called Nonna's.

A well-regarded Thai restaurant in Waltham has closed, and in its place will be another eatery called Nonna's, according to the voicemail message reached by calling the shuttered Erawan of Siam.

Boston Restaurant Talk picks up the intel from Chowhound, where a user reports that Erawan's windows have been papered over. BRT notes that a Waltham community website announced this switch back in October, but Erawan did not actually close at that point.

Moody Street is home to a plethora of restaurants, including Tom Can Cook, Biagio Ristorante, Moody's Delicatessen, Solea Tapas Bar, and Bison County.
