President Obama was in town today for the dedication of the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate and followed that up with a Democratic National Committee fundraiser lunch at Area Four, the Globe reports. He was joined by thirty supporters who had donated money.
According to a rep for the Kendall Square pizza-focused restaurant, the president ate a mushroom & fontina pizza and also took a carnivore pizza to go. The latter previously got some fame thanks to a feature on Food Network's Best. Pizza. Ever. It comes topped with sopressata, sausage, and bacon.
