The Bread & Salt Hospitality team has just finished up their longterm residency at Wink & Nod, and they're already keeping busy with a couple new projects. As previously reported, Sip Wine Bar & Kitchen has turned its adjacent shop into a pop-up space, and the Downtown Crossing restaurant will christen it with an Easter feast by Bread & Salt.
On the other side of the river, Bread & Salt has entered into a longterm collaboration with Clover Food Lab, the owner of the Inman Square space that until recently housed Grillo's Pickles. That space will now become a "retail incubator" that focuses on but is not exclusive to food. Bread & Salt's Katrina Jazayeri will be developing the program, and it launches with an Easter picnic basket pop-up from Bread & Salt — tea sandwiches, salads, tea, and more. Pre-orders are encouraged; baskets will be available for pick-up on Easter Sunday, April 5, from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Each basket costs $42 and feeds two. The menu is inspired by a segment from Wind in the Willows.
