Pavement Coffeehouse is a step closer to opening its sixth location at 1330 Boylston St., as it is currently accepting employment applications. In the March 21 job post on Facebook, the Pavement team says the Fenway location is on track for an opening "next month."

Pavement Coffeehouse evolved from owner Lawrence Margulies' venture Bagel Rising. In 2004, he began wholesaling bagels to three local Espresso Royale Caffee shops — and eventually bought the shops. He opened the first Pavement Coffeehouse on Boylston Street in 2010, and last year, the company completed its brand consolidation by turning the last Bagel Rising shop in Allston into a Pavement.

The coffeehouses still offer homemade bagels, as well as breads, pastries, and light lunches, plus Counter Culture coffee.
