European gelato and coffee chain Amorino has expanded into Boston with a flagship location on Newbury Street, and doors will open to the public at 7:30 a.m. this Thursday, March 26, a press released announced. The shop, located at 249 Newbury St., is hosting a discovery period from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. that day where guests can try a complimentary small cup or cone of the Italian confection.

Amorino offers 23 gelato varieties, plus a rotating monthly special, served in a distinct flower-shaped scoop. Flavors include a Nutella-inspired hazelnut & chocolate called L’Inimitable and Indian Alfonso mango. The cafe will also serve macarons, waffles, crepes, chocolates, Italian coffees, hot chocolate, tea, and, come warmer months, granitas.

The boutique shop will be open from 7:30 a.m. - 10 p.m. daily, with extended hours on the weekend.
