The Townshend Aiming for Early Spring Opening In Quincy

In Quincy, a new "modern tavern" will open this spring. The Townshend, as it will be called, is staffing its kitchen now, notes Boston Restaurant Talk, citing a job listing via BostonChefs.com website. The listing also appeared on Poached last week. The Townshend is looking for positive personalities — experience isn't a requirement, the listing says.

The Townshend will be located across from the Quincy station at 1250 Hancock St. The mixed-used development called Presidents Place currently houses a Dunkin' Donuts, Quincy College facilities, Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, and more.

Not yet known: the name of the owner or any other details about The Townshend, but it does have a website and has claimed a Facebook page.
