First announced last summer, the 70 Charles St. location is the cafe's fifth, and the first in Boston proper. Or began the company in 2007 and sold her creations at Boston-area farmers' markets before opening the first brick-and-mortar spot in Brookline. The other Tattes are in the Kendall Square area.
According to Tatte's website, the Beacon Hill menu will have similar offerings as the other locations, including breakfast sandwiches, poached eggs, Or's pastries, a mezze plate, quiche, an assortment of sandwiches, and more. The shop will also serve coffee and other beverages.
The Beacon Hill location will be open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays, and 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays.
