Last week, Arlington's Board of Selectmen granted a license to serve food to a new establishment, Zhu's Garden, in the space that formerly housed Kathmandu Spice, reports Boston Restaurant Talk.
Kathmandu Spice was a "culinary reflection of Boston’s ethnic mix" centered on Nepalese and Indian cuisine. The Arlington Advocate reports that Zhu's Garden will be a vegan restaurant. Will it possibly focus on Yunnan cuisine? A Google search reveals that Zhu's Garden is the name of a popular tourist destination in that Chinese province. Details are slim about the forthcoming eatery, including an opening timeline. But when it opens, Zhu's Garden will be located at 166 Massachusetts Ave., Arlington.
