New York-based Italian restaurant chain Serafina is expanding to New England, beginning with a soon-to-open outpost in the former Radius space at 10 High St. in Boston, as previously reported. Sterling Management Group, which is helmed by restaurateur Seth Greenberg (Mistral, Bastille Kitchen, etc.), has acquired the New England rights to the chain, seemingly leaving the door open for more locations.

Greenberg has tapped Bastille Kitchen sous chef Brendan Burke to be corporate chef at the new Serafina, opening imminently (possibly early April, according to a rep). Burke, a California native and avid snowboarder, attended Le Cordon Bleu at the California School of Culinary Arts, according to a press release announcing his new position.

Serafina offers a large selection of pizzas and pastas, as well as other Italian-inspired antipasti, entrees, and desserts. The wine list mainly features Italian picks, and there are also a variety of cocktails available, mostly in the fruity, easy-drinking spectrum.
