Mystery Small JP Restaurant Group Looks to Open New Concept in Mystery Space

Does this have to do with the just-shuttered Centre Street Sanctuary, perhaps?

Two-year-old Centre Street Sanctuary closed over the weekend, as previously reported, and yesterday, Jamaica Plain News wrote that the restaurant's owner, Adam Rutstein, is seeking to find a new owner as soon as possible — or to form a partnership with someone who wants to continue the existing concept.

Today, a tipster sends in a job posting from earlier this week on BostonChefs.com, wondering if it's referring to the Sanctuary space, which is located at 365 Centre St. in Jamaica Plain:

"Small restaurant group has unexpectedly come across opportunity for third concept in Jamaica Plain. They are seeking executive level kitchen (Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chef, Chef de Tournade) and management candidates (GM, AGM, Beverage Director, Service Manager) to best leverage the new opportunity with existing team. Outstanding applicants will either be considered for the new venture or placed in key roles at their existing successful restaurants, depending on experience, attitude, and interest. Write a brief email about yourself and attach a current resume. They are a small company that values teamwork, hospitality, and professionalism and operates using an open book, round table-based management style. They look forward to meeting you and thank you in advance for your time and interest."

More interestingly, the tipster muses whether the "small restaurant group" might be the team behind Tres Gatos and the recently-opened Centre Street Cafe. The wording of the posting suggests that the group has two existing concepts in JP — are there many such duos? Aside from Tres Gatos and Centre Street Cafe, there's Ten Tables and Grass Fed, as well as Bella Luna and the Milky Way. Anything else?

There are no other hints to be found at the moment; recent Tres Gatos job postings show only a vague similarity to this posting. Have any intel — or any opinions on what you'd like to see go into the Sanctuary space? Hit up the tipline.
