Sonia and Joe Garufi, two-thirds of the team behind Sophia's Grotto in Roslindale, will bring similar Italian fare to Cleary Square in Hyde Park, the Improper Bostonian reports. This confirmation follows November news from Boston Restaurant Talk, which also noted the new space at 5 Fairmount Ave. most recently housed The Hyde and was the home of Dottie's Delicatessen before that.

Joe Garufi is currently designing the space; the Improper says it will have tin ceilings and seating for 50 inside, as well as a "hidden wine garden patio." Antonio's Bacaro will have a full bar and will offer small plates and entrees.
