Fleck Coffee moved ahead with its planned opening today, despite the wrath of Mother Nature (or maybe Jack Frost is to blame.) It softly opened over the weekend.
The cafe, located at 1169 Walnut Street in Newton Highlands, specializes in high-quality, sustainable coffee and tea drinks; it even derives its name from the barista-speak term for coffee patterns atop an espresso shot. Fleck will also offer pastries from Trill Foods and Nashoba Brook Bakery.
It's open daily from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
