Juice bars are popping up with almost as much frequency as froyo shops and burger joints these days. The newest, The Daily Squeeze, opened at 359 W. Broadway in South Boston earlier this month, offering a variety of juices, smoothies, and "cleanses." On the menu: various combinations of ingredients like kale, beets, apples, oranges, romaine, almond milk, and more, plus add-ons like bee pollen, whey protein, and spirulina.
The first Yelp review to pop up praises the "great decor" and a "delicious" smoothie (banana, peanut butter, almond butter, cinnamon, agave, and almond milk).
The Daily Squeeze is open from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekends. According to Caught in Southie, a second location will open at 709 E. Broadway (inside the Urban Art Bar), just open in the mornings.
