Tomorrow is opening day for the latest location of growing local burger-and-more chain B. Good, which is adding an outpost at 71 Needham St. in Newton. Late last year, the chain announced plans to open 10-15 locations this year, crediting a menu shift to include salads and smoothies as part of the reason for substantial growth in 2014. The decade-old chain has around 20 locations these days, mostly in Massachusetts but also in other parts of the Northeast and even North Carolina.
The Newton menu features kale and quinoa bowls; salads made from locally-sourced, seasonal produce; burgers and sandwiches; and smoothies and shakes. It'll be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
