After reading about the new Roman-inspired Italian eatery coming to Burlington, Boston Restaurant Talk connected the forthcoming Osteria Nino to some previous facts the blog covered.

BRT first wrote in May 2014 that the Lyons Group is behind the new venture at 19 Third Ave., then tentatively called Abbondanza. The Lyons Group has also produced the Kings empire, Back Bay Social ClubHarvard Gardens, Lucky's LoungeScampo, and Towne Stove & Spirits. Over the summer, BRT noted a new report that suggested the Third Ave. spot would actually be called Margutta.

Based on BRT's coverage, the restaurant that will now be called Osteria Nino will be 6,000 square feet when it opens, with seating for 240. It will also have an outdoor patio. It is "not going to be your typical red sauce Italian restaurant," according to an article in the Daily Times Chronicle.
