James Beard Award winner Michael Schlow (Via Matta, Tico, Alta Strada) will be a guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon this Friday, Feb. 27. The show airs on NBC at 11:30 p.m.
The chef will make a pasta dish and an Italian dessert with the amiable late-night host. Schlow has also collected snow from Boston Common and is bringing a cooler of it with him to make "snowy negronis."
No stranger to television, Schlow has also appeared on Fallon's previous show, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, as well as Bravo’s Top Chef Masters, The Today Show, Good Morning America, CBS This Morning, Nightline, and The Food Network.
Fallon, a native New Yorker, has always displayed his love for Boston, and Boston Magazine has a nice recap of some recent times he has looked toward Boston for fodder for his monologues. A snowy negroni seems like an appropriate drink with which to toast Fallon this winter.
