As local restaurants and bars continue to try to shovel paths to their doorways and draw in weather-weary customers, one Jamaica Plain "bar" is taking advantage of the deep snow — it's made of it. Texas native and JP resident Chris Haynes has been inviting friends and neighbors to his brand new outdoor bar, which now boasts colorful lights and bench seating.

Meanwhile, Boston's actual frozen bar, Frost Ice Bar, is one of many venues that shut down for a few recent days over the last few weeks due to weather. In fact, it's currently warmer inside Frost (21 degrees Fahrenheit) than it is outside (18 degrees).
