Fromage Heads Towards February Opening

Like a fine wine or cheese, this deli is apparently better with age.

Long-awaited South Boston wine bar and gourmet deli Fromage appears to finally be opening later this month, according to a photo posted by an Eater reader (who deserves true credit for the aged cheese joke above). Plus, over the weekend, a job listing appeared on Craigslist, Boston Restaurant Blog reported earlier today.

Fromage was originally slated for a summer 2013 opening.

The Craigslist post indicates that the South Boston bar plans to offer gourmet appetizers and small plates, soups, salads, and panini; beer and wine by the glass; and coffee drinks. It'll also include a retail shop.
