ALLSTON — Former Boston chef Samuel Monsour is paying a visit from Los Angeles to take part in the sold-out Dundee V meat pie event next week. While he's here, he's also kicking off a new pop-up series, Chuck Taylor's Fried Chicken All Stars, at Roxy's Grilled Cheese. Taking place on February 26, the event includes two different fried chicken preparations by Monsour and Roxy's James DiSabatino, plus sides and Hoodsies. Tickets are $20. [BM/Eventbrite]
HARVARD SQUARE — Jason "Zen" Tom, founder of the Hutong Provisions pop-up series, is cooking up a storm at Night Market these days.
