After about seven months at Wink & Nod, the Bread & Salt Hospitality team will end their residency on March 28, according to a newsletter. "It's been a great run as 'Bread & Salt at Wink & Nod' and we are certainly thankful for the opportunity to serve Boston's South End with our temporary, but full time restaurant," they write. "But it's time to move forward, we have business plans to complete, a book to print, and plenty more to fill you in on soon."
Prior to Bread & Salt's time at the South End restaurant and bar, the Wink & Nod kitchen was run by the Whisk pop-up team for about six months. Next up, City Landing alum Patrick Enage will take over. (First, he's traveling through Asia for "inspiration and research.") City Landing shuttered in early January, and chef/owner Bill Brodsky became "chief culinary officer" of Boston Nightlife Ventures, the group that owns Wink & Nod. He brought some of his City Landing staff along, including Enage.
