Boston loves ramen, especially late at night. The newest option has just debuted in the South End: Banyan Bar + Refuge is serving it up from 10:30 p.m. to midnight (or until it runs out) Thursday through Saturday each week, and it features fresh noodles made in-house by chef Phillip Tang. (At Tang's previous restaurant in Cambridge's Inman Square, East by Northeast, much of the menu centered around hearty and flavorful noodle dishes.)
Last night's ramen ($16) had ginger chicken broth, chicken sausage, a poached egg, and pickled watermelon radish.
