True West Brewery is preparing for its grand opening in Acton, according to a post on the brewery's Facebook page. The crew is finishing up the final touches on the brewpub at 525 Massachusetts Ave. and will open later this month.
In addition to hoppy helpings, True West will have 80 restaurant seats for brunch, lunch, and dinner, as previously reported. Menu items will include a spent grain pretzel braid with house ale mustard, plus assorted entrees like lobster mac and cheese, flatbreads, burgers, and sandwiches.
The brunch menu includes omelettes, French toast, and other egg dishes. True West is "village supported," meaning all of its food is seasonal and local, sourced from nearby farmers, growers, fishermen, distillers, and more.
As for beer, True West will draw upon its roots at 7th Settlement Brewery, offering a flagship brown ale, plus IPAs (including a spicy rye), German-style lagers, stouts, and porters. The brewery also has a cocktail menu featuring seasonal items and wines.
