A new restaurant is making moves to open up shop on Massachusetts Ave., according to Boston Restaurant Talk. The restaurant, called Thresher, has applied to take over the license currently held by India Castle at 928 Mass Ave.
A license commission general hearing page for the city of Cambridge indicates that Christopher Willis of Roxtar Foods Limited is seeking permission to operate the new restaurant between 5 p.m. and 1 a.m. seven days per week. The restaurant has a seating capacity of 85.
India Castle has been around since 1999, and there is no indication yet what the restaurant's future plans are.
UPDATE: It's going to be called Pammy's.
