Gracie's Ice Cream in Somerville's Union Square is going into hibernation for the winter and closing from Monday, December 28 until March 1, when it will reopen with some new improvements.
Keep an eye on Gracie's social media accounts for more details in the coming weeks, but owner Aaron Cohen tells Eater that the team will be "refreshing the look a bit, putting together a hot drinks program, which people have been asking about since [they] opened, and introducing some new products like pastries, confections, etc."
They've made some final batches of favorite flavors like Cinnamon Ginger Snap, Whiskey + Fig (Newton), Chocolate Nilla Wafer, and Peanut Butter Peanut Butter Bar.
Here's the time you have left to stock up on Gracie's ice cream before the hiatus:
- 2:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23
- 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 24
- 2:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, December 26
