A new restaurant has opened on Columbus Avenue in the South End. Shun's Kitchen, a reincarnation of Jae's Cafe & Grill, had its first day on Tuesday and shared photos of the space on its social media.

The Asian bistro serves up a mix of Japanese and Chinese cuisine, including sushi, ramen, Chinese stir-fry, noodle and fried rice dishes, and a selection of hot and cold appetizers.

In addition to its main dining room and bar, Shun's (520 Columbus Ave.) has a private dining room with a fish tank view.

The restaurant is open Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
