A kosher hotel and restaurant planned for West Roxbury may not happen now, according to Boston Restaurant Talk. The property at 1650 VFW Parkway has apparently been sold, but not to the man behind the proposed hotel, Universal Hub reported.

Nissim Shimon Trabelsi, a local developer, made a push for the space  — possibly called the King David Hotel — which would have featured a glatt kosher restaurant, mikvah baths, a swimming pool, and a ballroom, in addition to the 69 rooms, as previously reported.

Instead, as UH wrote, the property has been sold to the owner of a Brockton gas station for $1.4 million.
