Tiger Mama opens soon in Fenway, and its creator Tiffani Faison debuted a dish at the Boston Magazine Taste event Monday night at Boston Children's Museum. The Tiger Mama team served up short rib pad see ew, giving guests a preview of what's to come from Faison's Southeast Asian-inspired restaurant.
The restaurant will have two bars (one tiki-themed) and is slated to open in December at 1363 Boylston St., down the street from Faison's popular barbecue restaurant, Sweet Cheeks. Faison previously told Eater she wasn't specifically aiming to open a second restaurant in the Fenway neighborhood.
"We love the Fenway and have an incredible relationship with our landlords so we left the possibility of the neighborhood open. I looked at a lot of other spaces in other places but found ourselves always coming back to Fenway," she said.
Tiger Mama is now hiring staff members, looking for people "committed to creating consistently unforgettable experiences for our guests."
One Instagram user who tried the dish is dreaming of #hangover #soups:
