An Ethiopian restaurant in the South End that has been around for 27 years is for sale, according to Boston Restaurant Talk. Addis Red Sea (544 Tremont St.) used to have a second restaurant in Porter Square, but the location closed to make way for an expansion of The Abbey, as previously reported.

Addis Red Sea was established in 1988 and specializes in authentic Ethiopian cuisine, from traditional beef entrees to Yebeg Wot and Yebeg Alcha, which are lamb dishes. The restaurant also offers a selection of vegetarian dishes, plus appetizers, salads, beer, and wine.

listing for the restaurant indicates it is being sold "as shown," with 68 seats and an existing beer and wine license.

Correction: A previous version of this story listed Addis Red Sea's second location in Brookline's Washington Square, not Porter Square.
