Walloon's Brick-and-Mortar Now Open in Peabody

Walloon's Fried Chicken has opened up shop on Route 1 in Peabody, according to Boston Restaurant Talk.

The restaurant started as a food truck, offering lunch at City Hall Plaza, the Arsenal on the Charles, Boston Public Library, and the SoWa Market. Walloon's specializes in buttermilk fried chicken tenders, sandwiches, and crinkle-cut french fries.

Now at home in its permanent location, Walloon's (108 Newbury St.) is serving up these same classics in-house and on-the-go from its drive-thru. Walloon's is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
