A handful of restaurants are set to open in shipping containers at the Innovation and Design Building in Boston's Seaport District. Located between 19 and 25 Drydock Ave., the eight food, coffee, and supply containers are all scheduled to be open by the end of next week, according to a spokesperson for Jamestown, the real estate and investment firm behind the project.
Two of the containers, Triangle Coffee and Jubali, are already open, as BostInno reported, and the rest will open next week. The containers were delivered at the end of the summer, and each restaurant has been responsible for getting set up and putting their own spin on the spaces.
The restaurants joining Triangle and Jubali next week are Mei Mei, Roxy's Grilled Cheese, and Yankee Lobster. Also opening are Cut-Splice (hair cutting and styling), Drydock Exchange (hardware supply and general store), and Niche Urban Garden Supply (plants, containers, and accessories).
