Downtown Crossing has a new beverage spot, complete with cheese-based tea drinks. Happy Lemon, which opened over the weekend at 417 Washington St. in the Corner Mall, offers a selection of bubble tea, milk tea, smoothies, and yes, salted cheese beverages.
One Yelp user called the lemon drinks "the best real fruit drink I've ever had" and said that the salty cheese green tea was "amazing."
Happy Lemon, a global chain established in 2006, has locations in the UK, Japan, the Philippines, and elsewhere, according to its website. The Boston location held its grand opening on November 7.
