A new iteration of a classic Mission Hill watering hole is now open, according to Boston Restaurant Talk. The Puddingstone Tavern took over a space previously occupied by The Crossing, which closed in March as its owners shifted their focus to opening Iron Furnace in Quincy.
The Puddingstone owners are reportedly connected to Brendan Behan Irish Pub in Jamaica Plain and Mission Bar and Grill on Huntington Ave. A Facebook post suggests the tavern offers a wide selection of beers in addition to liquor. It is located at 1592 Tremont St. in Mission Hill.
