Grass Fed to Add Second Location in Jamaica Plain

New, 1 comment

The JP burger-and-shake shop has a new outpost in the works near the Forest Hills station

Grass Fed (small)A new Grass Fed could open this winter, maybe in February, in the former Tonic space (3698A Washington St.), Jamaica Plain News reports. (After opening and closing and opening and closing again, Tonic finally sold its liquor license to the Envoy Hotel in Fort Point this past spring.)

Grass Fed owner Krista Kranyak, who also owns Ten Tables in JP and Cambridge, had previously expressed an intention to expand the Grass Fed brand. The original location opened in March 2012 at 605 Centre St., offering a variety of burgers, boozy milkshakes, and more.

Grass Fed #2 will have an 18-foot bar and a patio behind the restaurant, according to JP News. If approved, it'll have a full liquor license, take-out, and a 1 a.m. closing time.
