A small stall for Oath Craft Pizza has softly opened in South Station ahead of an official October 26 opening date, according to Boston Magazine. The Nantucket-based pizzeria offers crispy-crusted, quick-cooking pies made in convection ovens.
Doug Ferriman, the co-founder of Oath Craft, teamed up with Breakaway, a brand capital firm in Boston, to launch the pizzeria.
Ferriman's brainchild is Oath Craft's olive oil-infused crust. With this base, Oath Craft builds pies like its "Spicy Mother Clucker," with crispy Sriracha chicken, and "The David," which is made with portobello mushrooms, sausage, ricotta, and topped with a balsamic glaze, according to BostInno. Its South Station location will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Oath Craft reportedly experimented with breakfast pizzas in Nantucket before the store closed for the season. Its founders have plans to expand beyond South Station to a possible Davis Square pizzeria, along with a number of other undisclosed locations.
A grand opening celebration for the South Station stall will be on November 9.
