A new smoothie and juice bar will hold its grand opening in Brookline on October 23, this Friday, according to a Facebook post. Livite Juice Bar & Healthy Takeout (1644 Beacon Street) will offer a selection of smoothies and juices, sandwiches, salads and more.
Livite owner Victor Pichardo has previously said that the takeout spot will focus on local and organic sourcing when possible. He and business partners Yvan Cardenas and Tomas Checo hope to bring healthy lifestyle options to Washington Square.
Livite will operate as a takeout establishment without seating, according to the minutes from a June Board of Selectman hearing. Menu items range from a chicken bacon wrap to Livite's Row The Charles smoothie (with banana, blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, chia seeds, and cashew milk).
The takeout spot will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
