An innovative bar at Sichuan Garden II in Woburn now has another point of interest — a second-floor, library-style lounge is open, making room for additional guests and a different selection of cocktails, according to Boston Magazine.
Inside the historic, 17th century Baldwin Mansion in Woburn, The Baldwin Bar (2 Alfred St.) has received acclaim for its bartenders' imaginative cocktails. Its new upstairs lounge adds about 40 spaces for guests, in addition to the 26 downstairs, according to its website.
The new bar space actually does not have seats at the bar, according to Boston Magazine. Instead, guests sit at banquettes, couches, and dining tables, where they can order drinks and the full menu from Sichuan Garden downstairs.
As of now, seats are available Friday and Saturday nights starting at 5 p.m., and reservations are recommended.
