A section of Cambridge that has seen rapid growth in recent years could get a new restaurant, according to Boston Restaurant Talk. Andrew O'Connor, the man behind the Briar Group (which includes restaurants like City Table and The Harp), has applied for a full liquor license in Kendall Square.
Launch, the restaurant proposed for a space at 450 Kendall St., would seat 130, plus an additional 110 on a seasonal patio, and it could operate between proposed hours of 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. seven days per week. O'Connor also applied for an entertainment license that would include live music, radio, audio, and four televisions.
Cambridge's licensing commission will hold a hearing on O'Connor's application on October 20.
