Blazing Salads on Wheels will debut on October 16, according to Boston Restaurant Talk. The new food truck will be a reincarnation of the former Blazing Salads Mediterranean restaurant in Quincy, which first opened in 1974.
According to its website, Blazing Salads on Wheels will offer "delicious Mediterranean fare," from hummus and tabooli to baklava, not to mention the "classic blazing salad," made with light greens and served in a pocket with tabooli.
Catch Blazing Salads on Wheels when it rolls out on Friday. It will operate from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at the Hurley Building on New Chardon Street, as well as Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2 Boylston St. in Chinatown.
