When Chez Henri closed in late 2013, many fans were sad to see the restaurant go — and in particular, chef Paul O'Connell's signature Cuban sandwich. But sandwich lovers will get a chance to revisit the Cuban (and more) on January 31 when O'Connell, who is now teaching over at Le Cordon Bleu, pops up at Abigail's in Kendall Square for a night of "food and libation from the Cuban nation."

Former Chez Henri general manager Beth Schunke is the general manager at Abigail's these days, and Chez Henri alum Rob Iurilli is behind the bar.

From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the 31st, all of the old Chez Henri bar snacks will be available, along with a three-course menu ($35) featuring classics like the plantain-crusted mahi mahi and steak frites with chimichurri. To drink? Periodistas and mojitos.

Make a reservation via OpenTable or snag a bar seat (first come, first served).
