In need of something sweet? Head to West Roxbury, home of a brand new pastry shop called Delectable Desires Pastries, an alum of the CropCircle Kitchen food business incubator in Jamaica Plain. Located at 1755 Centre Street in West Roxbury, Delectable Desires offers cakes (including custom orders), other desserts, European pastries, and sweet breads, according to its website. Also available: Equal Exchange coffees and MEM teas.
While the storefront is new, the company is not. Owner Carlene O'Garro started Delectable Desires in 2007, providing wholesale pastries to coffee shops and hotels.
Delectable Desires is open from 7 A.M. to 7 P.M. Monday through Saturday and 8 A.M. to 4 P.M. on Sundays.
