Important notes:

  • Information may have changed after it was added to this list, although we are updating as frequently as possible, so please confirm with restaurants directly before heading out.
  • A statewide travel ban is currently in effect, and there is no MBTA service today, so it's your feet or nothing. You should probably stay at home or at least close by.

  • 5 Napkin Burger (Back Bay): Currently planning to stay open.
  • 1369 Coffeehouse (Cambridge): Both locations open regular hours.
  • The Abbey: Both locations (Brookline and Cambridge) opening at 11 A.M.
  • Alden & Harlow (Harvard Square)
  • Ashmont Grill (Dorchester): Hoping to be open in the evening for burgers and beer.
  • Audubon Boston (Fenway): Opening at 5 P.M.
  • Aurum Restaurant (Jamaica Plain): Free Atomic Cafe Coffee Roasters coffee.
  • Back Bay Social Club
  • The Banshee Pub (Dorchester): Aiming to open at 10:30 A.M.
  • Barcelona Wine Bar: South End location is hoping to open at 3 P.M. with full menu.
  • Barney Fannings (Financial District)
  • Barracuda Tavern (Downtown Crossing): Staying open "no matter what."
  • Basho (Fenway): Closed for lunch but open for dinner at 4:30 P.M.
  • Battery Park (Financial District): Offering discounts based on the amount of snow.
  • Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro (Beacon Hill): Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  • Bertucci's: Faneuil Hall location is opening at 11 A.M. (closing TBD) for takeout only with a limited pizza-only menu.
  • The Black Rose (Downtown Boston): Opening around noon.
  • Blarney Stone (Dorchester): Opening at 5 P.M. with soup, chili, grilled cheese, and beer.
  • BOKX 109 (Newton): Open 5 P.M. to 9 P.M., bar and lounge only (dining room closed). Limited menu. Offering a $20 "winter warmer" pairing when it drops below 20 degrees (barbecue cheesy brisket poppers with a hot toddy).
  • Boston Common Coffee Company: The North End location is open; the others are not.
  • Brasserie Jo (Back Bay): Open 6:30 A.M. to 10 P.M. (The bar is open from 10 A.M. to 1 A.M.)
  • BRIX Wine Shop: Sound End location open at 3 P.M. (Financial District location closed.)
  • Bull McCabe's: Bar only — no food. DJ at 9 P.M.
  • Cafe Madeleine (South End)
  • Caffe Nero: Downtown Crossing location is open until 5 P.M.
  • California Pizza Kitchen (Back Bay)
  • Canary Square (Jamaica Plain): Closed during the day but tentatively planning on drinks and snacks for the evening.
  • Cappy's Pizza (Symphony): Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  • Cathedral Station (South End): Planning on opening at 4 P.M.
  • Chatime: Regular hours at the two Chinatown locations, but Northeastern and Newbury locations are closed.
  • Chopps (Burlington): Open regular hours (11:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. and 5:30 P.M. to 10:00 P.M.)
  • City Feed & Supply (Jamaica Plain): Open limited hours, TBD. Boylston Street location planning on 9 A.M.
  • Clerys (Back Bay): Opening around noon.
  • Common Ground: Allston location will be open all day with movie marathons, snow angel contests, and mulled cider. Arlington is also open and hosting a beer tasting with small bites at 7 P.M.
  • Coolidge Corner Clubhouse (Coolidge Corner)
  • Craigie on Main (Central Square): "All Night Whim-a-Thon" (four courses for $45 or six courses for $57 — no other options)
  • Deep Ellum (Allston): Hoping to open at 5 P.M.
  • Devlin's Restaurant (Brighton): Open 11 A.M. to 1 A.M.
  • Diesel Cafe (Davis Square): Planning to open at noon.
  • Douzo (Back Bay): Tentatively planning to open for dinner at 4:30 P.M.
  • Ducali Pizzeria (North End): Open at 11:30 A.M.
  • Eastern Standard (Kenmore Square)
  • El Pelon Taqueria: Both locations (Fenway and Brighton) open.
  • Fairsted Kitchen (Washington Square): Open "no matter what."
  • Fiorella's Express (all locations): Closed in the morning, but opening at 4 P.M.
  • Five Horses Tavern: The South End location will be open normal hours all week. The Davis Square location is hoping to open at 3 P.M.
  • Foundry on Elm
  • GARI Japanese Bistro: Needham location is open.
  • The Glenville Stops (Allston): No food, but the bar will be open.
  • Golden Temple (Washington Square): Open and delivering "until Mother Nature says otherwise."
  • Gourmet Dumpling House (Chinatown)
  • Grassfed (Jamaica Plain): Open noon to 10 P.M.
  • Great Taste (Chinatown)
  • Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ (Brookline)
  • Hale and Hearty Soups (Financial District): Open until 3 P.M.
  • Harvest (Harvard Square): Open for lunch and dinner (and it's the first lunch since reopening post-renovation).
  • The Haven (Jamaica Plain): Open at noon. Showing Chelsea vs. Liverpool at 2:45 P.M. Featuring stouts and dark ales tonight.
  • Hong Kong Eatery (Chinatown)
  • The Independent
  • Joe's American (Back Bay): Only the Newbury Street location is open.
  • Joe Sent Me: Waltham location is open at 11:30 A.M. with free soup for plow drivers. Cambridge location is also open.
  • Kelly's Roast Beef: Revere Beach location is open. "We don't close for snow!"
  • The Kirkland Tap & Trotter (Somerville): Offering a $16 burger and beer special, $2 grilled oysters, and a selection of "hearty dishes like mussel chowder and rustic soups"
  • Lincoln Tavern and Restaurant (South Boston): Will be open "with plenty of pizza and snacks."
  • Loco Taqueria & Oyster Bar (South Boston): Open at noon
  • Lucca: Back Bay location is open.

  • Miracle of Science (Central Square): Opening an hour after the travel ban lifts.

  • The Paramount: Beacon Hill location open.
  • Pizzeria Uno (Back Bay): The Boylston Street location is open.
  • The Point Restaurant (Faneuil Hall): Regular hours, limited menu.
  • Precinct Kitchen + Bar (Back Bay)
  • The Red Hat (Beacon Hill): Opening at 4 P.M. for drinks and planning on serving a full dinner menu at some point (time TBD).
  • The Regal Beagle (Coolidge Corner)
  • Restaurant dante (Cambridge): Open regular hours (5:30 P.M. to 10 P.M.) and offering bollito misto soup (beef, veal, cotechino, hen, vegetables, salsa verde) for $9
  • RumBa (Waterfront)
  • Savin Bar and Kitchen (Dorchester): Trivia at 8 P.M.
  • The Seven Ales House (Beacon Hill): Opening at 3 P.M.
  • Sidewalk Cafe (South Boston): Trying to open around 10 or 11 A.M.
  • Smith & Wollensky: Atlantic Wharf location open; Back Bay closed.
  • Social Wines (South Boston): Opening around 12:30 P.M.
  • Solas (Back Bay)
  • Sonsie (Back Bay): Open "no matter what." Dinner menu may be limited.
  • South Street Diner (Leather District): Closed during the day but opening at 10 P.M.
  • Stats Bar & Grille (South Boston)
  • Sushi-Teq (Waterfront)
  • Taj Boston (Back Bay): Open regular hours (Cafe from 6:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. and 5 P.M. to 10 P.M.; bar from 7 A.M. to 11:30 P.M.)
  • Tamo Bar (Seaport District)
  • Tap Trailhouse (Downtown Boston): Tentatively opening at 4 P.M. Specials include a Hot Grog cocktail paired with venison chili for $12, a free side of brown sugar-glazed bacon with purchase of a signature cocktail, and a free cup of clam chowder with purchase of an entree.
  • Tavern at the End of the World (Somerville): Open. Live music starts at 9:30 P.M.
  • Ten Tables: Cambridge location is open from 6 P.M. to 10 P.M. with $1 tapas from chef Ben Lacey, $1 oysters at the bar, and a $16 short rib and black truffle-stuffed burger. The Jamaica Plain location is open from 5:30 P.M. to 10 P.M. with the bar menu and dinner menu.
  • Thornton's Fenway Grille (Fenway)
  • The Tip Tap Room (Beacon Hill): Open 5 P.M. to 10 P.M. with limited menu.
  • Tremont 647 (South End): Opening at 5 P.M., and Taco Tuesday is on.
  • Ula Cafe (Jamaica Plain): May open a little later than 7 A.M. and close a little earlier than 7 P.M., but planning to open.
  • Upper Crust Pizzeria: South End location open 4:30 P.M. to 10 P.M.; normal hours in Beacon Hill and Brookline; other locations closed. Making some deliveries by foot. Snow plow and city crew members get half off orders at Beacon Hill and Brookline locations today.
  • The Urban Art Bar (South Boston): Open at 11 A.M. with make-your-own-bloody-mary bar, snacks, and board games.
  • VodkaBa (Waterfront)
  • Ward 8 (North End): Opening at 5 P.M. with limited snacks (no dining room). Bar service will feature hot buttered rums and toddies.
  • Washington Square Tavern (Washington Square)
  • Whiskey's
  • The Wholy Grain (South End): Open until lunch-ish with limited offerings.
