HARVARD SQUARE — Harvest has been closed for most of the month for a big overhaul, and now that the first stage of the two-stage renovation is complete, it reopens tonight for dinner at 5:30 P.M. Right off the bat, diners will see differences all around the restaurant, particularly in the bar and cafe area. Soon, there will also be new furniture and artwork, changes to the menu, and more. Brunch starts up this Sunday, January 25, and lunch begins on Tuesday, January 27.

SEAPORT DISTRICT — Head to Harpoon this Monday, January 26, for the Holiday Hangover to End Childhood Hunger, taking place from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Drink beer and try food from chefs including Lumiere's Michael Leviton, Grill 23's Jay Murray, Rialto's Jody Adams, and lots more. Net proceeds go towards Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry campaign. Tickets available here.

HARVARD SQUARE — The brand new Boston Burger Company outpost in Cambridge is now offering "happy hour" in the bar area, which means half-priced apps. The hours are 3 P.M. to 6 P.M. and 9 P.M. to close on weekdays.

HUB-WIDE — This coming Wednesday, January 28, restaurants all around town will participate in Operation Dine Out, supporting the Boston Police Foundation with a percentage of their sales for the day. The foundation's programs include Crime Stoppers, Text a Tip, and more. Participating restaurants include Church, El Pelon, M.C. Spiedo, South Street Diner, Russell House Tavern, and lots more.
