Starting this Sunday and taking place every Sunday forever after, or at least for now, cozy Newton bistro Sycamore will begin offering cheeseburgers in very limited amounts — there will only be 16.
While the exact details are still being ironed out, the restaurant tells Eater that it'll probably cost in the range of $14, and they'll definitely be making the buns in-house.
Sycamore opened a couple of years ago in Newton Centre, helmed by chef/owner David Punch, a Ten Tables alum, and chef Lydia Reichert, a Craigie alum. The "seasonally inspired" menu currently features dishes like a forest mushroom lasagnette, a New England "board" for two (pot roast, baked cod, lobster ragu, baked beans, vegetables, and popovers), and Atlantic swordfish.
