OISA Ramen, a fairly new ramen pop-up, is hosting another event on January 26, this coming Monday, at Martin's Coffee Shop in Brookline. Tickets cost $25 and include edamame, gyoza, either tonkotsu ramen or a spicy miso vegan ramen, and dessert. (There are 40 tickets available for the tonkotsu ramen and eight for the vegan.) There are four different seatings available, starting at 5:30, although the vegan tickets are only available for the final seating, which is between 7:45 and 8:15 p.m.
In other upcoming pop-up news, JP Beer Garden is making another appearance, this time at The Kirkland Tap & Trotter in Somerville. This one is a bit further off — February 22. JP Beer Garden's Owen Royce-Nagel and Lizzie Szczepaniak actually met at Craigie Street Bistrot back in the day, so they're "thrilled and honored" to share Tony Maws' kitchen again for this event, according to a newsletter. Some other Craigie alum will also be involved, they note. While all the details are still being ironed out, the event will be a late-night pop-up with no reservations and no tickets. Updates will be posted to JP Beer Garden's Twitter account.
