The Barmobile is coming. A team of familiar faces is revamping a 1946 30-foot Flxible Airliner into "a rolling barroom for all your cocktail catering needs in the Boston area and beyond," according to a Facebook post from Kevin Mabry, beverage director at jm Curley and Merrill & Co. (and 2013 Eater Boston Bartender of the Year).

"It's a side project not associated" with either of those restaurants, and it won't be "affecting [his] current role" at them, he writes. "This is something to call my own with a team that is excited to embark on a new journey together."

Mabry will be director of bar operations for The Barmobile, joined by Suzie Dagenais (also part of the Merrill/Curley management team) as chief logistics officer and Domingo-martin Barreres (bartender at Bogie's Place, which resides inside of jm Curley) as director of development.

According to the post, the "transformation" of the vehicle has just begun at Classic Revival Garage in Londonderry, New Hampshire. While the team is "nowhere close to booking events" just yet, interested parties can follow along on Twitter and Facebook.
