Pavement Coffeehouse, which currently has five locations, announced a sixth location over the summer — 1330 Boylston Street, in the Fenway neighborhood. Yesterday, a reader posted on Twitter that some signage has gone up. Looks like it actually went up in the fall, along with a note on Facebook that the opening would be this winter.
Owner Lawrence Margulies opened the first Pavement Coffeehouse in 2010; prior to that, he opened Bagel Rising in 2002 and bought three Espresso Royale Caffes in 2006. Now, all of his establishments are part of the Pavement Coffeehouse brand.
In addition to a range of coffee and other beverages, Pavement serves light breakfasts and lunches.
