Tavern in the Square Opens Its Newest Outpost

Tavern in the Square, which no longer confines itself to squares, has opened its newest branch. This one is right by North Station and the Garden, located inside the new Victor Apartments. Unlike the newish micro-location inside South Station, this one can seat 267, including a 36-seat bar with lots of televisions and 50 beers on draft. The menu is all about comfort, from the "Big Dig" cheesy waffle fries to sandwiches and pizzas (gluten-free crust is available.)

The new Tavern in the Square is open from 11:30 a.m. until 1 a.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 11:30 a.m. through 2 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. The kitchen is open until 11 p.m. each night and also offers a late-night menu until midnight on Thursday through Saturday. Other locations can be found in Porter Square, Central Square, Allston, and beyond.
